About Warehouse Worker Role
The warehouse employee maintains and processes the tangible assets kept in our warehouse to serve consumers. These essential team members load and move wheeled bins and boxed goods, in addition to processing incoming and outgoing orders. They handle internal transfers, permanent withdrawals, destructions, and special initiatives.
Work Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming orders; scan locations on the Safekeeper system and carton barcodes.
- Look into and correct any order discrepancies for incoming or outgoing orders.
- Manifest every order, and package and get ready to ship.
- Prepare all required documents precisely.
- Inform the manager of any challenging order difficulties.
- Examine and maintain every piece of equipment, such as ladders, wedge, Safekeeper console, and Telxon scanner.
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards.
Requirements:
- A high school degree or its equivalent.
- A year of experience in a physical setting, warehouse, or related industry.
- Capacity to pass a background investigation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Spend the entire day standing up.
- Lift, load, and relocate 40-pound-average-weight boxes.
- Climb stairs, lift to 70 pounds, and move things with the aid of tools.
- Basic knowledge of computers is necessary.
