- Do not have a job offer
- Want to work for multiple employers in Canada
- Would like to work in multiple locations and earn money to travel
Young Professionals Category
In the Young Professionals category, an employer-specific work visa is given to selected candidates from eligible countries. Applicants in this category need to have:
- A valid job offer from a Canadian company that will help advance their career
- A job with the same employer in the same location
International Co-op Internship
The International Co-op Internship category offers a business-specific work visa. This category is for you if you:
- Are a postsecondary student with an internship or work placement offer in Canada
- Will complete the job placement or internship as part of your education
- Will stay with the same employer in the same place while you are in Canada

Canada announced that the IEC costs for all participants in the 2024 season will be 172 Canadian dollars. The fees vary based on the immigration program chosen.
